Police began investigating late last year after it was reported that Luis F. Adan, of Jackson, met up with the female in West WhitelandTownship and engaged in sexual contact, West Whiteland Det. Scott Pezick said.
The two met online and the acts occurred between October and December 2020, Pezick said.
West Whiteland police obtained a warrant for Adan's arrest and took him into custody last Friday, the detective said.
Adan is facing a dozen charges including involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault and more.
He was detained in New Jersey pending extradition to Pennsylvania, according to Pezick.
